Why tagging your PPE?

It is required by law that companies have a lifecycle sheet of every PPE. This document keeps a track of the whole protective equipment history.
The tag enables to link the equipment to its lifecycle sheet.

It is where RFID makes the difference: you just have to use your tablet or smartphone to see all the information you need about the equipment directly on the mobile device.
One scan is enough to see the user manual, the repair operations that were performed previously, if the equipment has been in contact with a harmful substance, and if it is still usable.

The RFID scan is also a proof that the regulatory checks were performed on the correct equipment.

Plan the regulatory checks

Harnesses, masks… Industrial companies are legally required to perform regulatory checks on BA and PPE to guarantee the employees safety.
GEMA enables to plan mandatory checks, to assign those tasks to a manager, and to indicate the operating procedures to respect, especially for PPE that have specific checking instructions.

Dematerialised reports

A report must be done for every PPE and BA controlled. By using GEMA, you are sure to be able to archive them easily: it is possible to enter reports directly on the mobile app, and to keep them on the web platform.
In case of a non-compliance, a notice will be sent to the person in charge.
