Gas park management and gas bottle traceability

Gas bottle RFID identification and flow monitoring

Gas park management is based on the RFID identification of every single bottle. Each bottle is marked with a tag, that gives them a unique identifier.

When the bottle enters or leaves the stock, the warehouse clerk scans it with his mobile device. The gas bottle movements are automatically saved, without any additional input operation.

Gas park stocks optimisation and cost saving

Bottle monitoring within the gas park enables optimising the gas park stock management and knowing in real time the number of available bottles or the quantity at the work site. Knowing how many bottles are in consignment stocks outside the park prevents from leaving unused bottles at the service providers and allows reduce renting costs.

GEMA also enables reduce the intervention time. As the technicians can easily and quickly find the gas bottles to check, they also spend less time close to dangerous installations.

Intervention management on tablet

One of GEMA’s biggest advantage is to enable the dematerialisation of all reports and information. Our activity monitoring tablet app gets all the requests that come from the tool and enables managers to create their team’s calendars.

Technicians receive the maintenance actions they have to perform directly on the tablet. Then they can enter their intervention report on the mobile device, even without any internet connection. Team leaders and managers automatically receive the reports and non-compliance notifications once the mobile device recovers a Wi-Fi, ethernet or 4G connection.

Risks minimising: gas park security

Knowing where every single bottle is allows a better gas park management, but it also means more security for the technicians, who exactly know what hazardous gases they have nearby. Knowing what gases are nearby and in what quantity prevents accidents.
